It doesn’t help, and I’ve got a feeling I’ll be undone for the rest of the night all thanks to what’s hidden under Graham’s zipper. “To screw me? I guess I had you all wrong.”

“If I wanted only to fuck you, Elle, it wouldn’t have mattered where I took you for dinner—or if I fed you at all.” He whips the plate cover off my food. “Hope you like steak.”

His Pawn by Emily Snow is the story of Senator Graham Delaney and Eleanor 'Elle ' Courtney. She's in a financial jam after her father cuts her off, and Graham is ready to use her for his game of revenge. Elle is the daughter of another Senator who has no idea she met her match with Graham. Needing money fast she lands a job as a waitress at 202 a sports bar where tips are great but gets fired a week later. Graham Delaney aka Senator Sexy sees the perfect opportunity to get revenge against his biggest enemy Senator Courtney by using his daughter Elle . He offers to pay Elle's tuition if she agrees to a sexual relationship with him. The chemistry between them is already intense and they haven’t even shared a kiss yet. Elle doesn’t realize that Graham isn’t helping her for honorable reasons. Graham is this dirty, alpha, sexy, hot man who does whatever he needs to , to get the results he wants to put the screws to Elle’s father. Just when you think you know where this story is headed, a huge twist takes place. Who is the pawn and who has been played? This is one fantastic story that captured me from the start and had me enthralled until the very end. I loved every spellbinding, sizzling moment between Elle and Graham. I hope Graham’s brother gets his own book and soon!!!
