This is Book 2 in the series of The Winston Brothers Series.---Ryker and Ava's story. What this book is about is 2 people finding each other by fate, coming together beautifully, then separated, and coming together again. On the day of his father's funeral Ryker finds himself totally unable to cope with how he feels and takes off to a bar to drink away his pain and feelings. Ava and her friends who are celebrating the start of Ava's internship with a prestigious company and they happen to end up at the same bar as Ryker. When he meets Ava, a sweet and sensual woman, there is this immediate chemistry and they end up having just one night of sizzling, steamy sex; for Ava is gone in the morning. She left behind a mystery for Ryker-she was the woman with no name, no number, no way for Ryker to find the girl who just upended his life. From Ava’s perspective, she had a night of drunken fun with this man she had a connection with but she was totally freaking out. Ava wakes to find herself in the hotel room, panicked with a man she doesn't even know his name so she quickly gets out and leaves before he wakes. Ava turns up to her first day at work to discover the man she had a one night stand with is now her new boss and he doesn't remember her. Ryker finds himself very drawn to his new employee but he doesn’t know why. Several months go by and things slip into place for Ryker, but in the meantime Ava discovers that she is pregnant and it’s her boss’s baby. This is a story that is filled with secrets, lies and a huge twist that will have the reader about dropping out in shock. This is a fantastic story that kept me reading for all the chemistry , passion, intrigue, romance , family ties and love that is woven throughout this story. I enjoyed so much the Winston Brothers, Ryker, Ava, Fallon & Reed and the rest of the Winston Bros… this is one story that has a lot going on. I loved the fast pace, the seamless way everything comes together. I look forward to the next book in this series.
