My Review:

'Obsession' By Ann Mayburn is one of hottest books I have read of late. It has a lot of elements that will get your blood pumping and keep your eyes on the pages. Hannah and Leo are the main characters and let me tell you, they will keep you focused on them the entire book. Their courtship was unique- full of passion and spice-Angst and tension. Their relationship was defined as a Daddy / Daughter submissive role in a BDSM relationship. Some may not understand it and not care for a book like this but I say, do not let this deter you from reading this book. This is such a fantastic romance story of a man who falls for a woman who is exactly what he has been looking for. Their story started years before and was paused until they met back up years later. Their first meet was just for moments but made a lasting impression on Leo who needed that touch of kindness. Hannah is a young woman who has been thru a lot in her young life , some things that made me want to take her and hug her tight. When Leo sweeps her off her feet and is her everything- her daddy, her Dom, her hero who does everything to show her she is special to him. He spoils her and pampers her – but this Daddy Dom has secrets. Will everything that he has done for Hannah to build their dream world together come tumbling down?
Leo & Hannah have this great whirlwind love story that features this Daddy/ Dom storyline which isn’t offensive. The author writes this story in such a way that is beautiful and shows her characters with a realness; the characters come with a soul, with imperfect souls but that doesn’t make them purely bad. They are people who have had bad things that happened to them and how they handle themselves in their day to day life. I truly enjoyed Leo’s alpha ways , his daddy dom personality with Hannah and his rough n tough bad boy enforcerness. And Miss Hannah, well she is a spitfire. She is sweet, innocent yet she has this world weary demeanor at times. Yet she is one of the characters that you want to see get every good thing come her way. There is angst, lies, betrayal, obsession, yet there is also hope, innocence, sexual desire, and the best thing-love. I must also bring up what I found great --- the supporting cast of characters- I cannot wait for book 2 in this series, cuz I am so ready for more Cordova Cartel bad boys to come my way.
