There are literally no
words to describe the roller coaster of emotions I felt while reading this
story. This is book1 of two. In book 1, we have Roman and Elisabeth. They haven’t spoken
since their divorce 2 years ago. They loved each other then and are still in
love but the pain runs deep. I don’t want to go into the whys about the divorce
but the reason plays into the story. Their story is shown by going back to the
beginning and how it all went wrong then it goes back to present day. Its so
many twists and turns . Roman is one of those types- he realizes when he
commits a wrong and does everything he can to fix it before its too late right
. I loved how stubborn how each was, but the love stull endured.
The other couple is Walt and
Clare. Walt is a terrible, horrible man who is very abusive to Clare. Clare
isn’t allowed to go anywhere but to the gym. Claire has nowhere to go , has the
bruises to reinforce this. She wants to protect their daughter Tessa from Walt.
She is willing to do anything to save her daughter, anything. This is where
Luke, her trainer at the gym comes into the picture. He has offered to help but
she doesn’t want him killed.
There is a Huge major
twist in this story that almost brought me to my knees and left this story on a
truly epic cliffhanger. I need to know what happens and that is where book 2
will come in. I need “Transfer” like now. I need to know how everything ends
up. There is suspense, mystery, romance, passion, anger, angst…so much emotions
coming at you . It’s a wow kind of story but boy, did I love it. Aly Martinez
has another hit on her hands.
