My review::

This is a great story that is easy to follow along and get engrossed in. There are two main characters , Eli and Gwen, who meet when Gwen and her fiancé attend Eli and his fiancée wedding and Gwen’s fiancée and Eli’s soon to be bride run off together at the wedding. Suddenly Eli is jilted and Gwen goes from a soon to be bride to being jilted as well. These are two abandoned people who are in a state of pain, of shock, and also angry.

They go from strangers to friends to lovers. The path was paved with rocks all on the way ( ex lovers , family, well-meaning friends) and they still were able to take the time to get to know each other, be there for each other during this strange and difficult time . The love that sprang from it, for each other was stronger and better than it was for their previous partners and the passion was filled with heat and fire.  I enjoyed reading how they were able to overcome all the problems in their personal lives to be with each other, how they fought to be with each other and the end result was their strong and undying love and passion for each other. Eli and Gwen made the best couple after the hellish time they went thru in the beginning of the book. The twists and turns this book took to put the MC couple together was well worth it because WOW Eli was such a hunk and really had a great heart, while Gwen is such a lovely and strong woman who went thru so much to come out on the other side after all she went thru. Add in the cast of supporting characters which gives this book an added gleam and this is one awesome story.
