Sapphire is a Texas girl who is crazy about football. She has always had a knack for writing, whether it is poems or stories. My Review:
OMG what can I say? This is a book that will leave you in tears yet will have you cheering on the MC in this book. Every time I read a Sapphire Knight book, I find I crave more after I’m done because it is sooo good and it is the same here with Friction. The emotion, the angst, the pain and the passion will leave you breathless.
Twist is a man who lost a lot but comes back stronger than ever. He is definitely an alpha male and he is stronger and hard. His past is broken and hard- his wife and daughter were murdered brutally –now he has found this “home” with the Oath Keepers MC. He is able to be brutal and rough because they have the same ideals for criminals and people who cross them; He supports his club and does what is needed.
Sadie leaves California after what happened to her there, to go to her brother who is with the Oath Keepers. She is pregnant and needs help and her brother, Piece is the only one she can depend on. Once there, she finds she is completely attracted to her brother’s dangerous friend ‘Twist”. Except that Twist doesn’t know what he feels about his MC Brother’s sister. He sees there is something different about her and that when she is around, he feels different –better than he has felt in years but he is so conflicted. Also she is coming from a bad situation with some personal problems and so added “baggage’. This isn’t the best time to think about them getting together.
Twist and Sadie met and they have this angst emotion- filled love story that is intersped with passion and action. Their love is there with every breath and every shrug between them. At times things looked tragic and pointless but things were on a downswing and suddenly there was the change in fortune and there was the love and hope mixed in with the angst and anger . Twist and Sadie have a beautiful , tragic, feisty , angst-ridden, amazing love story to date. I cannot wait to read the next couple’s story because this defiantly took the cake and with this being right on top, I cannot wait to see whose next on top. The MC have a lot of things that happened to them but the ending will given them the HEA that they need and we readers were looking for.
