PUSH by JOANNA Blake Review

This is one of the best Joanna Blake books that she has put out. I fell in love with Nico and I didn’t think I would like him at first. He was such a manwhore in the beginning  but by the end, he WAS  truly a true book boyfriend—and I need one of him. Oh and Rosalie, such a flower waiting for the light to shine on her and “open” her up and that light is Nico.
What is different in this story is the telling and the spin. Normally the guy is the life of the party when deep down there is something that needs to be fixed in him by the heroine. In this book we find it’s a mixed bag for both. They both are struggling and they are both in pain, each in their own ways. Nico was hired to do a special job, one only a hot, sexy, cute boytoy like him knows how to do. He is hired for an insanely large amount of money to come over to English and get very close with Rosalie.. and he is to make sure to deprive her of something of hers which is priceless today but to Rosalie, she values very much and oh, to embarrass her and pretty much ruin her name. Nico was all ok with that , which there were reasons—and for those you MUST read this book…but when Nico got to know this sweet and shy lady, he found his heart being pulled under and away. As they are slowly developing a relationship, to which they are both falling in love, things are happening behind the scenes to undermine the young lovers—See, when Nico took this job, he took it knowing their was an endgame and it was to hurt Rosalie  ---see she is a royal virgin and the person who set this up has an agenda and “they” brought Nico over to rid Rosalie of her virginity and of more. We get to see what drew Nico to Rosalie- she was just going thru her life until she met him and then BOOM, her life took on new meaning and she came alive. There are twists and turns , especially of the emotional kind. I loved how we see Rosalie grow.. oh but my heart did hurt for her. I had my tissues handy --Nico went from being this jerk to a man who knew what and WHO he needed. The boy grew to a real man in this story and did it in such a beautiful way. I loved the supporting cast of characters and the places shown were awesome. Joanna Blake did it again, she knows how to write such wonderful stories that grab you and wont let go. Kudos for a great job.
