TEARS OF BETRAYAL by Michelle Heard is another book in the St. Monarch's Academy series. This is Ariana Robinson and Demitri Vetrov's story. This story is packed full of action, excitement, suspense, intrigue, drama, danger, steamy passion, angst, secrets, twists, sizzling chemistry, edgy vibes, one twisted, possessive, handsome Alpha hero and a, beautiful, sweet, innocent heroine with an amazing HEA. This story has everything that makes it a book worth reading. Ariana knows her dad is part of the Russian Bratva but doesn't know her status in the Bratva since she is his illegitimate daughter. She lives her meager life, taking care of her very ill mother and working as a make-up artist . That's it. Not aware of what her father's dealings. She lived unaware of her father's Bratva dealings. Then suddenly she's kidnapped by Demitri Vetrov and her life changes forever. Oh yea! Demitri !!! I have been eagerly waiting for his story. The chemistry between him and Ariana is red-hot! Demitri is known as Custodian and Personal Protection of Alexei Coslov, the world's deadliest assassin. People are trying to kill Ariana and Demitri is protecting Ariana from the contract on her life. The story is dark, angsty, hot, suspenseful, sexy, swoon-worthy, and just a really good Russian Bratva read. Demitri and Ariana make a great couple, enjoyed the action, the plot, the emotions and the heat. Overall just a consuming read 📚. I can't wait for Alexei's book next !
