Gold Mine by Skye Warren is book 2 in the Diamond series. This is the continuing story of Holly Frank and Elijah North. You need to read book 1 "Diamond In the
Rough" before starting this book. The story picks up a year after Diamond in the Rough ends. Holly and Elijah's relationship is complicated, complex, intense. Holly loves Elijah but after what happened to her last year, how he was using her to get to her sister London- well, she's not feeling like she wants to go back in his arms. Elijah knows he messed up. He was undercover and trying to do things best way he could. Then comes Holly into his life and turns it upside down. He is willing to do whatever to prove his love and keep her safe from harm. Looks like he is going to have that chance. The danger, suspense, intrigue, action, excitement, twists, turns, secrets, angst, and drama had me on the edge of my seat. The romance and sizzling passion added to the story as well. The huge cliffhanger has me wanting book 3 coming out , like tomorrow!! Great flow and amazing characters make this a phenomenal read!!
