My Review:


Evil Love is the 1st book in the Nightingale series by Ella Fields. This is a enemies-to-lovers/bully romance read that takes your emotions through quite the wringer. Fern and Jude are next door neighbors/ classmates at this elite high school that they attend. Fern has had a crush on Jude for awhile. It's nothing bad, just a harmless crush yet Jude takes offense to Fern's obsessive type crush and decides to destroy Fern by flaying her heart open for everyone in the school to see and make fun of.
This story has tons of angst, tears,  heartbreak,  drama,  rollercoaster emotions, feels,  betrayal,  secrets,  lies,  twists and in the middle of it all, a love story. Jude is a broody, secretive,  handsome,  arrogant young man while Fern is a determined,  kooky,  loyal,  innocent,  and pretty young woman who has this obsession with Jude. Their angsty love story is written perfectly and the sparks that flew between them sparks off the pages. Will Jude realize what Fern means to him ? Will Fern forgive all Jude puts her through? The story is such an emotional read that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
