The Girl Next Door by Emma Hart is everything you want in a romcom romance ➕ the accidental pregnancy included for the added reading pleasure. Kai and Ivy are next door neighbors who had a one night stand and Ivy ended up pregnant. Ivy is completely freaked out, worried how the news will affect her Grandma Rose and scared to tell the father- Kai. The story is such a mix of humorous banter, swoon-worthy male lead, sassy heroine, sweet and sexy chemistry, fake marriage, and awesome HEA.
Kai and Ivy's road to HEA is just amazing, fun, hot, sweet, and emotional. I liked Kai. He was great book boyfriend material. Ivy was sassy and headstrong. They balance each other out. I can't wait for book 2 in this new series.
