Drew (Heaven Hill Shorts Book 8) by Laramie Briscoe packs quite the emotional wallop. It's a short read but know that in the short story, the emotions are deep and raw. This is Drew's story. We get to read how he and Charity dealt with his daughter's kidnapping and the aftermath of emotions with all involved. It's raw, intense, gritty, emotional, loving, caring and shows the depth of a father's love. Writing is phenomenally done and the characters come across as like I feel like I know them. That's because the author, Laramie Briscoe, has keen insights into her characters which makes the character and connections happen naturally.
