Baby is book 9 in the Linear Tactical series by Janie Crouch. This is Blake (Baby) Bollinger and Quinn Harrison-Pritchard's story.
Quinn is Boy Riley's older sister and she is returning back to town after she lost her job at Harvard, her marriage broke completely apart and she's completely down on her luck. There are twists and turns that elude to Quinn having some serious troubles in her past back in Boston. She doesn't want to tell her brother about it so she kept it secret. When she comes on Baby, she doesn't say anything. Baby knows that there's a problem but doesn't push. These two have instant chemistry. Baby is the 1st person to want to do something for her...whatever she wants, he'll do. As sweet as this story is, there is that suspenseful side. Quinn is in trouble, someone is trying to kill her and at the same time, attempting to make Quinn come off as the guilty party. Can Baby save her or will Quinn end up in jail for crimes she didn't commit? Or worse, dead??
This is a great story full of feels, angst, drama, passion, romance, suspense, intrigue and mystery. Loved the feels and the sparks. Can't wait for book 10 !!
