Fortuity is book 3 in the Transcend series by Jewel E. Ann. It can be read as a standalone...but if you've read this series you will recognize who the hero is. I am so glad this is his book!! If you haven't read the other books in the series yet, this would be the time to go do that.
What a phenomenal read this was!! Gracelyn is a great character. We see how her life is changed and how she gets custody of her 10 year old nephew. She flips her life around to make him happy after his world was rocked. She wasn't planning on having kids after too many failed attempts at love and HEA. Then due to tragedy, her nephew comes into her life.
She then meets her nextdoor neighbors for the summer- a super sexy professor named Nathaniel and his young daughter. Nathaniel is a widower who is just about to move back to Wisconsin in 3 months and now there's his new neighbor that's giving him pause for she’s giving his heart a new beat. Will these two find love before 3 months is up?
This is a funny, feisty, poignant and touching story about how love comes when you least expect it. The kids are gems!! Love the way Nathaniel and Gracelyn come together. Without giving anything away, the feels, heat, passion, romance and humor makes this a great read.
