I loved My Big Fat Fake Engagement by Lauren Landish. This time the main couple is Kaede and Courtney who were secondary characters in My Big Fat Fake Wedding. Oh this was a fabulous read. Courtney and Kaede each had feelings for one another but didn't act on those feelings. Well, Kaede had this possible investor looking to add him as a son in law as part of any business deal made. So Kaede sort of panicked and said he was "engaged " to Courtney...no harm, no foul, right? Courtney agrees to help play along in order to help Kaede and her brother land this deal. What actually happens is a wonderfully sweet, smartly written and romantic story about two people who are perfect for each other. Friends to lovers romcom done right ✅.
