Behind My Words by J.L. Drake is hands down one of the best books of 2020, if not ever by this author. It's twisted, gripping, emotional, powerful, intense, heartbreaking, dark romance and complex read that's about a ghostwriter, cop and a serier killer. The twists and turns that this story takes you on will have you wondering who, what, why and how. The ending was phenomenal and I hope there is another book with Spencer and Detective Blake Daniels. They are electric together..the connection they have is fantastic. Loved this book and the bad guy is someone who you LEAST expect.
