This is book 2 in the Bad
Boy bikers series and can be read as a standalone. This is Helen and Beretta’s
story.
Helen is a nurse who is coming out of a bad relationship. Her ex –Randall
is a sleaze who did nothing but hurt Helen emotionally and so she decided that
she was going to live her life balls to the walls full force, doing what she
wanted and not what “a man” wanted. So
she decides to go out with a sexy and dangerous man named Beretta who
runs with Three MC crew. He was decent to her, he didn’t hurt her
or make her feel scared. But soon their time is over because Helen needed more
from him…she needed him to communicate more and he didn’t even talk. So she
quickly ended their very sexual relationship and tried to move on. In the
meantime, her ex Randall is stirring up mischief, trying to get back with her
when she doesn’t want him in her life.
One night while at work,
Helen comes on a robbery in the ambulance bay and it happens to be someone she
knows and ends up kidnapped. Then that’s when the real adventure takes place. Helen ends up being kidnapped so she can help
provide medical care and also her life is in danger so she has to go along with
pretending to be someone ‘s old lady. –that would be Beretta and oh is Helen
mad when she finds out. There are many twists and turns in this story –there is
danger, adventure, passion, anger, betrayal,
danger and most of all……… Love. I enjoyed the range of emotions that we
are taken on in this story and the layers --the ending is fantastic. I cannot wait to
read the next installment in this story.
