ARC REVIEW OF Last Hope by Jessica Clare & Jen Frederick

This is the story of Rafe Mendoza and Ava. We know Rafe from Bk 3 “Last Kiss” where he helped out Vasily. In this book, Rafe, alpha mercenary whom along with his ex brothers in arms, goes in search of info that will help them get the release of one their own. 
Ava, she is Mendoza’s target and is on the run. When her best friend Rose is kidnapped, take a job as a mule for a pair of criminals’ intent on selling top-secret information. Then she is on a plane and the plane crashes and she is recuses by Mendoza- that sexy, hot, hunky Mendoza. The only reason that he freed her was to get that information one way or another. In the beginning of the story you could tell he had the hots for Ava but as the story goes on, his hots developed into this obsession for Ava that was becoming unhealthy. 
Ava and Mendoza are on the run for their lives from Ava’s kidnappers in the jungle after escaping from the wreckage of the plane. During the time that they are together, they grow closer and OMG, the things that come out of each other’s mouth is insane TWO WORDS :Rafe’s Godzilla.Its too funny. I about died when I read the paragraph. There is a secret that Mendoza is hiding from Ava and when she finds out , will if change how she is feeling about Mendoza? Right now she is falling in love with him and her feelings are becoming very deep about him and Rafe? He is getting deep about Ava. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her. He would kill for her. But as the story goes on, the baddies are getting close. Will they get the couple or will they get away? There is action, romane, humor, suspense, hearbreak, and there is an HEA. I LOVED LOVED how the story ended and I cannot wait to read more from these authors (Jessica Claire and Jen Frederick).
