Anchor is the ending of the story about the long journey that
Casey and Blake have taken. There have been many highs and MANY lows but no
matter what, they have ended up back together.
I know after reading Bait, I had my doubts that there would never be a
HEA but I had to hold out hope. Then In Sail, these lovers went thru so much to
find their way back to each other. Their path was paved with tears, glass, pain,
so many things and in the end the lovers fought their way back to each other
and that was so wonderful.
Now in the final book, Anchor, We see that Blake is trying to
recover from the attack from her ex-husband, Grant. Casey is doing all he can
to make sure she recovers. Casey realizes after all they have been thru, its
time for him to make his honeybee his bride. Blake doesn’t want to think about
Grant any more of give him any more power over her, she no longer holds him in
any thoughts. But do not count Grant down, he may have some little hidden
mischief just waiting to be unleashed to further mess with Blake.
Blake and Casey are all about letting their love fly and show
with their friends and family. They have spent so much time in the past
fighting their feelings and fighting each other. Now they are united and their
love is so bright and beautiful. But
there are some troublemakers to make an appearance in the story to rile up the
MC.
This book gave such a
satisfying ending to our favorite couple –it took us on a ride of our life with
them….a range of emotions that the author is known for and I thank her for
showing us that this was needed in this story with THIS couple. I took a ride
with these books and with this couple and at times I was so frustrated but in
SUCH a great way. I am so sad that the story is over but it has ended in such a
great way. I do hope to see a new story start with some of the supporting
characters {wink wink} to M Mabie.
