My Review:

Strict Confidence by Skye Warren is book 2 in the Rochester Trilogy. This is the continuation in the story of Beau Rochester and Jane Mendoza. Book 2 picks up right where book 1's cliffhanger left off. Beau and Jane are trying to figure out what is going on with them after they barely survived a terrible house fire. Actually, the fire put Jane, Beau and Paige's lives at risk and they barely survived. Just Barely. We see from that any headway Jane has made with Paige has suffered and that has to start over, since Paige now is suffering... Jane and Beau's relationship takes a huge hit and definitely there are cracks. We see there is someone going to great lengths to cause trouble for Beau Rochester and what they would do to hurt him/hurt Jane. There were many twists and turns that lead to the shocking cliffhanger ending! This book tore at my heartstrings, had me enthralled, rooting for Beau and Jane's romance, the chemistry and emotions, suspense, intrigue, action, excitement, drama, intrigue, angst and modern day retelling twist of classics. I can't wait for book 3.
