Cruel Saints by Michelle Heard is an emotionally intense, dark, angsty, twisted, ruthless, raw, violent, gripping, heartbreaking, heartstopping, so dirty, so hot AF... this book isn't really like the books read before. It's Mafia x 💯 baby! Action, drama, passion, angst, dark romance..everything is amped up and jammed into this story. Elena and Lucian's story is a slowburn romance that from the moment they met there was supreme chemistry between them. Their meeting and then sizzling interactions at St. Monarch’s Academy really shows how much they belong together but due to what her father has arranged, her life is seemingly mapped out. Can Lucian and Elena find their way towards the mafia's version of HEA or will her father's arrangement end the beginning of their happiness? This is a beautiful story with amazing characters, steamy heat, great feels, and a great plot that keeps the reader hooked until the very end. Look forward to the next story.
