Southern Hotshot is the 2nd book in the North Carolina Highlands series by Jessica Peterson. This is Emma and Samuel's story. Emma is the new sommelier and Samuel's an ex football player turned foodie. These two clash over who's the head of what at Samuel's family restaurant at his family’s resort which sets off fireworks bigtime.
The sizzle, feels, attraction, drama, tension, chemistry, humor, romance, family dynamics, and fabulous characters. Samuel is this intense, alpha and swoon-worthy hero while Emma is sassy, independent and strong. This is a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for book 3.
