Not What I Expected by Jewel E. Ann is not your usual older woman/younger man romance. It's a story that is filled with heartbreak, pain, grief, secrets, second chances, humor, romance, heat , feels, attraction, forgiveness and love. This story will pull you in - wondering what comes after 42-year-old Elsie asked her husband of 20+ years for divorce. The passion had totally left their marriage and she couldn't even see the man that she married and had children with. Fast forward a year, 30 year old Kael Hendricks arrives in town to open up a store, which is across from Elsie's family store. Kael is a man who just is this free spirit and he is quite sexy. Women are very drawn to his movie star looks yet Kael really doesn't pay much attention. When Elsie and Kael meet, fireworks happen. It's sizzling and intense. Will this free spirit want to be tied down by the hot older mum? Will Elsie be ready for a relationship with her family's competitor? Is she ready to move on after this past year of heartbreak and pain? This story has the feels, chemistry, humor, romance, drama and sizzle.
