Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. My Review:

What We Do in the Light is book 2 in Day to Night duet by Stylo Fantôme.
Book 1 ended with a huge cliffhanger, with Valentine overhearing Ari speaking to his father, calling Val a not so nice word, which deep down Valentine believed herself to be but she truly wasn't. After hearing this conversation between Ari and his dad, she was really offended and ran off. Things ended between them...book 2 picks up where book 1 ended on that epic cliffhanger.
Valentine's life has undergone massive upheaval- she is trying to keep everything together all while missing that man..Ari.
Ari hasn't been himself since Valentine has left his life. He knows they're fantastic together and he vows to prove to her how good they are together and to give him a 2nd chance. That is, if he can get her to listen to him ever again....
This story has the angst, the miscommunication, the drama, the heartbreak, the feels that make this a good read..what is missing is the deep passion and heat that was there in book 1. At times this story seemed a bit rushed in places. I liked this story but would have liked for the epilogue to not to be rushed. Loved the characters of Ari and Valentine- the chemistry is there but just needed alittle more steam and romance, less rushedness and would have been a smoother read.
