About Ker Dukey

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected. I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up. My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling. When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

My Review:

This is book three in the “V Games” series by authors K Webster and Ker Dukey. I recommend that you do not read this as a stand alone for these books should be read in succession to each other or you will be so completely lost on all the families/plot that is woven between each book. This book is Vas and Darya’s story. Without giving away much spoilers, Vas can’t get the slave girl Darya out of his head. He makes sure to go out of his way to see her every time he goes to visit his sister. It drives him insane to leave her in the hands of Yuri Vasiliev, one of the most heartless and cruellest leaders of the first families. As the story progresses, secrets are slowly revealed and lies are soon exposed which help Vas for he ends up getting to rescue Darya from her tortured surroundings and soon he is protecting her. But not all is ok, for there are more secrets that must be exposed in order to make Daraya safe...its only a matter of time and Vas is determined to save his woman thru brute force if necessary. Will the secrets that are left save their love or doom them ? What a deliciously dark and hot romance that keeps the readers on their toes as they follow the main characters and secondary characters in this story. Vas and Daraya have this intense relationship between them- its sizzles and steams , that's how hot it is. I loved reading every single word and hope there is more books in this series.
