"A Gentleman for Christmas" by: Prescott Lane is a sweet yet steamy 2nd chance romance that will have you glued to this Charming holiday read that is full of the feels and heat. Jax and Skylar's chemistry and connection that jumps out at you from the pages.Jax is the man with all the answers, especially when it comes to giving men advice. Yet Jax himself cannot break the bro code,THE Gentleman’s rule. He can’t date his best friend’s ex. Jax is still desperately in love with her and has been since way back when he saw her 1st; And he has come to that point where he loves her too much to back away----“Gentleman’s Rule—When you find the right woman, never let go.”
Skylar is the girl that got away. Can Jax-" the man with a plan" convince the girl of his deepest dreams to risk her battered heart on him?
Prescott Lane brings this sweet, holidays feels and unique twists along with a romcom that has self help woven in along with steam and temptation to this beautifully written romantic 2nd chance romance. This has everything for everybody- drama, tension, angst, family, friendship, forbidden, steamy, intense, hot,sexy, passion, heartbreak, loss, betrayal, beauty, holidays, feels,forgiveness, romance and Love. If I would have anything to say about this story that is a minus, it would be that I wish the epilogue was not as full as it could be- I wished that it showed the main characters 1 to 2 years down the road and it would have been fuller but other than that, great read, fabulous wordplay and lovely scenes.
