This is the 2nd book in Danielle Norman's Iron Horse Series. What a terrific friends-to-lovers romance read! I really recommend that you read Stetson before reading Slow Burn otherwise your going to feel lost if you don't.
Paris has always had Asher in her corner since they grew up together and were each other's 1st, yet despite her very deep feelings for him, Paris feels that pursuing a relationship with Asher will ruin their friendship and leave her broken. Asher feels quite differently and has been waiting for Paris for many years. He knows and has realized since childhood that she's the one for him. Now that he's back in town and taking over his dad's veterinary practice that he's ready to claim his intentions and start his future with Paris. Is Paris ready to accept Asher and show that she is ready to take their relationship past the friendship zone or will things wither and die out ? Paris is looking for fireworks and Disney princes but what she doesn't realize is that Asher is the type of man who would gladly give her anything her heart desired. There are reasons that are rooted in Paris's past that speak to why she is doesn't want to lose her friendship with Asher and why she looks for her "Prince Charming". Asher is perfect for Paris and she for him. Ms. Norman has another hit on her hands with a romance that is perfect with its sweetness and slow burn . Love the cast of characters and the plot is just perfect. Looking forward to book 3.
