A determined
alpha + An unsuspecting wallflower = A sexy surprise!
Seth Bashar
carries the weight of the shifter world on his shoulders as the head of their
council. Or at least it’s felt that way ever since he attempted the
impossible—uniting witches and shifters. As he tries to maintain the delicate
balance, finding his fated mate is more vital than ever.
Jane Smith
has no responsibilities to anyone but herself. Finally. She’s more than happy
to fade into the woodwork. When her favorite customer, Gerri Wilder, insists on
setting her up on a blind date, she reluctantly agrees.
It was only
supposed to be a harmless night of fun... until it was more. Until he was
everything.

EXCERPT
The bell
above the door to the shop announced the arrival of another customer, and my
breath froze in my lungs when I glanced up and saw the man walking towards me.
He was most definitely a shifter—tall, dark, and handsome. Screw handsome, he
was more than that. He was downright gorgeous. Thick, black hair. A chiseled
jaw covered with scruff. Plump lips that I could too easily picture trailing
down my naked skin. Broad shoulders, tapered waist, and long legs that quickly
ate up the space between us. He was easily a half foot taller than my five feet
nine inches. I felt downright dainty standing in front of him.
He looked
completely out of place in the store; the proverbial bull in a china shop. That
didn’t stop me from having to fight the urge to leap over the counter and into
his arms, though. My wolf pushed for control, and it was a struggle I hadn’t
felt in years. I’d been keeping her on a tight leash—one she’d seemed content
to stay on. Until now. Until him.
I spotted
the brown paper bag in his hand, and realization dawned. “Gerri sent you?”
“Yes,” he
rasped.
I eyed him
up and down, taking in the way the black material of his shirt was stretched
taut by his muscles and how his jeans molded his legs. Looking at him, it was
impossible to argue that my vibrator was getting the job done. Not when he was
an alternative.
“Wow,” I
breathed out. “You’re the guy she wants to set me up on a blind date with?”
ABOUT ROCHELLE PAIGE
Rochelle
Paige is an Amazon bestselling author. She absolutely adores reading. Her
friends growing up used to tease her when she trailed after them, trying to
read and walk at the same time. She loves stories with alpha males, sassy
heroines, hot sex and happily ever afters. She is a bit of a genre hopper in
both her reading and her writing. So far she's written books in several romance
sub-genres including new adult, contemporary, paranormal and romantic suspense.

*****MY REVIEW****
What a Great Novella written
by Rochelle Paige for the Paranormal Dating Agency Kindle World . This book is a cross over between the
both The Fated Mates series and her previous paranormal series, Black River
Pack/ McMahon Clan Series. This just isn’t
Seth and Jane's Magical story; we
also got to see previous characters from previous books make appearance in this
story which was fantastic for they are much loved!!
This was a very quick and
satisfying read while introducing the readers to twists and turns in the storyline
and satisfying plot storylines. Like how Seth met Jane and their instant
attraction, Jane’s past and their future. I really loved how Gerri was involved and I
hope she gets her own book soon. I would
also love to read Jared’s story (Seth’s Beta).
This was one emotional, hot,
seductive, edgy, and insta-love story that had me from the beginning and I
loved the ending. I love how mates meet and their Mating Ceremonies. This is one that definitely
had me going-for it left me with the warm and fuzzy feelings. Seth and Jane are
a great couple. Rochelle Paige has done
it again with her Mates- this is a great addition to the stories she writes. I
cannot wait for the next book she writes
in this series.
