Synopsis:
From international bestselling author Monica James.

My name is Lucy Tucker, and my life…it was perfect.

I worked the dream job. I had the most incredible family and friends. My home, Whispering Willows, a ranch in Montana, was everything I could ever wish for. My adoring fiancé, Samuel Stone, loved me unconditionally.

I had everything a girl could ever want.

But one fateful event shattered my perfect life. It’s unimaginable how simple, ordinary words can change a person’s life forever. For me those words were, “There’s been an accident.

I thought Sam was my forever, but that forever came to a close the day Saxon Stone, Sam’s identical twin brother, came back. Saxon returned to Montana to help save Sam, however, the moment he entered my life, he turned my world upside down. But through chaos I somehow found clarity—clarity of who I was meant to be.

As time progressed, as seasons changed, and as a fire began to burn, I soon realized that Saxon was there for another reason…he was there to help save me.

*******MY REVIEW****

'Forgetting You, Forgetting Me' By Monica James is one heck of a romance read. It is a story that does end with a cliffhanger but what a way it ends and it will pick up with their story in the next book.
Ms. James has written a book so deep, so emotional, it goes beyond an emotional roller coaster, its an emotional wasteland. It is a story that you will need to just hang on for it will be a very bumpy ride. When you think things are finally resolving, Nope, she flips the switch and everything is in upheaval again and that is what makes this an amazing read.
I cried, I yelled, I grieved right along with the characters and that is what makes this one of the best books I have read this year. Again I have to stress, this book is EMOTIONAL so keep tissues by your side and just hang on because all will be resolved in book two. I had to put myself in the character’s shoes and wonder what I would do if this happened to me and I literally had no answer. I felt so bad for Lucy and all she was put thru.  Ms. James brings her characters to life and makes you feel everything that they are going thru, every good thing and every bad thing that they are living thru. She made me experience everything and I Mean EVERYTHING AND I hurt Lucy especially, because that is how Ms James wrote and her beautiful and emotional story got to me in such a way, I was an emotional basketcase but what a wonderful way to experience this story. This story shows a  love that started when in teen years . a love that has stood test of time , a love that everyone wanted but didn’t seem to have. What really should have been the best day, the happiest day of Lucy’s life ended up being the worst of her young life and just kept getting worst from there on out. One accident changes everything that you seem to know about the person you love, about the past that you know it to be and the person you love AND the person they have become. This is a book that makes you question everything about the characters (Lucy, Sam and Saxon), the present and their past. I want to go into more detail but I don’t want to give any spoilers. This is a book to be savored, to be read and devoured because things move and there are a lot of twists and turns. There is a lot of unshared history and what you thought you knew, you don’t know and whatever it is will have a big impact on your thoughts, feeling and as your reading this book, you start to worry about the outcome. I read this book in one sitting and then I went back and re-read it again because this was so good. I now am jonesing for book 2 because I need to know what ends up happening to all involved. This is one story that has stayed with me . These characters, especially Lucy, will have you invested in their story and the outcome. Because the last scene in the book about did me in and the cliffhanger was earthshattering. This is one duet that everyone will remember.

My Rating:  5.0  stars *****
