The Fake Girlfriend Rules by Penny Wylder is a fun best friends to lovers /fake relationship to real relationship in the best way. Lyllian and Douglas have been BFFs pretty much all their lives and then become roommates. Douglas needs a "fake girlfriend " for a work event and who do you think he asks ? Lyllian. He sees her not as a "girl" but more as just one of the guys / a friend and so he figures she'll help him out. She does and wait til he gets a look of her in a dress. Things happen on the fake "date" and well... their relationship changed from a BFF type to lovers with some angst. These two don't realize what's been staring them in the face all these years. This story has heat, sizzle, feels, attraction, drama, fun , humor, romance and HEA.
