The Lying Season by K.A. Linde is another angsty, steamy, tempestuous 2nd chance romance.
Sam and Lark have a past and haven't seen each other in 5 years- now they are back in each others lives as Lark's the deputy campaign manager trying to get Mayor Kensington reelected and Sam just got hired on as an attorney for the campaign to work in the legal department. Oh my!! The chemistry is still sizzling between them. Lark's just got out of a relationship while Sam is in a relationship but it's on its last legs. They look at one another...they look, they can't touch. They want but can't have. Something happened to them 5 years before that decimated their 1st relationship and the waves are still at times felt. This story is so angsty... it's more of a push/pull they got going on. Will they or won't they? Will the answer ever come of what happened 5 years before? Will Lark and Sam finally get their HEA?
An emotional rollercoaster romance ride!
