Beautifully Brutal is part of a series of interconnected standalone reads-- each book features an assassin for The Cavalieri Della Morte. In this book, we get assassin Lance Knight and his forbidden love Giuliana's story. Lance has had feelings for Giuliana since she was young, but she was forbidden to him and their relationship was hindered by everyone that could. Theirs was an everlasting bond. Which was great when she suddenly up and disappeared . Lance never forgot her and Giuliana looked for a way to get back to her true love. I will say alot of crazy af things happen in this read. Its dark, raw, gritty, steamy, intense and well- just messed up but a story I'd read again. I would love to see what happens to their romance for this story ends on a HFN ending. Still good.
