Protecting Macy by C.M. Steele is book 1 in the Cavanaugh Security Series. This is Macy Garcia and Sean Cavanaugh's story. Sean and Macy meet after she went thru a horrific experience and Sean was the cop who was there for her. Theirs was a insta-love story that has the sizzle and romance along was suspense , angst, twists , drama and heat. I loved the chemistry between Macy and Sean - the insta-love didn't detract but was such a beautiful addition to the story and loved the twist with the serial killer and crooked cop. I can't wait for book 2 in this new series.
