My Review:
Chalk Dirty to Me is book 3 in the Madd Crossfit series by Lani Lynn Vale. This is Will and Cannel's story. We briefly met Cannel Crow in her brother's book -Conjugal Visits. She went thru something horrific and is 2 years out from that now. She is living in a new town, working at a new job, can't work around big, tall men and can't stand the shadows... plus she can no longer accept touches, including hugs from anyone including family and friends. One day at work, she meets Wilhelm " Will" Shultz whose a police officer regarding a patient and she suddenly feels "safe". She feels like she could let him touch her. 🫂 She feels things she never thought she'd feel again. Will finds he feels something for her too but knows they will both have issues to face getting together. He doesn't care, he is willing to do whatever to have her in his life in anyway. Will is tough, warm, sweet and gruff but amazing! He and Cannel are so beautiful together. They have this instant chemistry and connection together. There are those that are out to keep them apart- her ex boyfriend Toot, his female police officer partner, and the drama that occurred from 2 years before rears it ugly head. Get ready for another LLV HEA ❤🔥.
