Dark Need by Clarissa Wild is this intense and darkly wild ride read that takes the reader on quite the rollercoaster ride.
This is Soren and April's story. Soren starts off as April's captor, her enemy, her tormentor. He took April away from all she knew in life as she was out at a club trying to recover from what she had just seen and just blow steam off in best way at the club when this terrifying ordeal occurred and now she's with him...Soren. Soren we know from the previous books (Dark Wish &Dark Lies) as the "big, silent man that punishes the sinners". Well he is still that here in this book. Their chemistry is electric and raw. Their love is not for the faint hearted, that's for sure. It was a bumpy road and they had to open up to one another before the love , the romance- the connection grew between them even as the chemistry was hot and poppin. April is sassy and innocent, determined to make Soren see the House rules are wrong and he doesn't have to follow them. Can Soren finally break free from the House triggers ? Will these two get there HEA ? There's drama, suspense, intrigue, action, excitement, raw emotions, angst, secrets, twists, chemistry, heat, feels, romance and yes- love. It's definitely a dark dark romance and I was so glad that Soren his book!! Enjoyed the ending!

My Review:

Don't Go Away Mad is book #2 in Burgers and Brew Crüe series by author Lacey Black. This is Jasper and Lyndee's story. This is a slowburn, enemies-to-lovers romance/2nd chance at romance story that really will tug on the heartstrings,  get the tissues ready,  have you rooting for them,  needing a fan ready because the tension/heat is 🔥🔥🔥 steamy hot!! Jasper is the co-owner of the the restaurant and pub and is known for his burgers. He is a great chef. Lyndee moves back to town with her brother and opens a bakery. She is sassy, sweet and fiery. She attended culinary school with Jasper and they had didn't get along. The chemistry then was strong and fast forward to the present is even more intense. They know which buttons to push on each other, how to set the other off. What they refuse to admit is the like each other. The journey these two take is what the author is good at. Will Lyndee and Jasper give love a chance or will they be too stuck in the past ?

Oakley's bully from elementary to sophomore year is now back in her senior year of high school- Chase Anderson! He is obsessed and angry with her; he is determined to make her his, to matter the cost so let the games begin. The novella ended on a cliffhanger which this story will become a full length book. SQUEE I can't wait to read the full length story because just this short story has me needing like yesterday the whole book now!! So good!

My Review:

Angel's Promise was an excellent conclusion to the Devil's Duet by Aleatha Romig. Book 2 definitely followed up what book 1 showed with and had even more of :  suspense,  mystery,  thrills,  passion,  angst,  secrets,  drama, feels, attraction,  secrets,  twists,  chemistry,  sin,  danger, action,  excitement,  romance and a beautiful HEA. There were several moments that had me just going ohhh and awww and swoon... Rhett and Emma's story kept the readers engaged and entertained from start to end. Theirs wasn't always a pretty love story but it was lived, loved story and wow the rollercoaster emotions took us on quite a journey. I hated to say goodbye to to Rhett and Emma but can't wait to read Kyle's story next!

My Review:

Kitty Kitty is the 5th book in the Souls Chapel Revenants series by author Lani Lynn Vale. This is Blaise (she is the daughter of Sebastian and Baylee (Dixie Wardens--she's also Silas' granddaughter) and Sin's story (he is Coke's (The Hail Raisers) brother). The story begins with Sin saving Blaise from a sexual assault and beating but he ends up in jail from doing the right thing. Blaise immediately after she recovered got on at Sin's jail and the chemistry that sparks between this was intense, sizzling hot. They each are pretty unique and bring their own past into present time. Makes for good times. There are twists and turns that take this story on a rollercoaster ride when Sin gets out of jail early and seeks Blaise out. Can they get a HEA and will justice get served for both Sin and Blaise? This is a fantastic addition to Souls Chapel Revenants series 👏❤. Can't wait for book 6!!! My Rating: 4.8 stars ***********

My Review:

The Next Mrs Russo by Jana Aston is my jam! Full of humor, banter, wit, swoon-worthy moments,  cold yet sexy-as-sin 40 year old Warren Russo who is something of a mystery while sweet and sassy  27 year old Audrey Gibson has adventure , some insecurity and a big heap of friendly going on. He's the Governor while she's trying to get her vintage clothing store up and running. These two wouldn't ever cross pathes except for the one person who knows them both and arranged for them to meet. What sets out to be a fake date, age-gap romance with the Governor of New York ends up tumbling into a real life romance. This is one sassy, sweet,  awesome,  amazing read that is boosted by the secondary characters like Andrey’s ‘non-assistant, the smart-aleck teenaged Miller, Warren’s dog Duke, Gary the cat , and Warren's mother , Mrs. Bianchi. The chemistry,  heat,  humor,  romance,  lite angst,  and amazing characters. This all together makes for a sensational read!!! 👏

Knocked Up Anthology a secret baby romance  collection that features 16 different and amazing authors and their sweet and red hot novellas !! They are are are fabulous and worthy to be in this Secret Baby Anthology. Out of the 16, these are my 5 favorites:

Finding Prince Charming by Nikki Ash- Natalie isn't happy with her life for it's not turning out the way she expected. That's when she meets Liam.... My Rating: 4.5 stars******

Hideaway By CoraLee June- Sexy Mafia romance that is also a 2nd chance) romance . #NicoandLydia. My Rating: 4.8 stars *******

Miss B by K Webster- This is a reverse age gap romance. I don't want to say 2nd chance romance because it's more a Taboo relationship (Teacher/student). It's K Webster, it's hot, raw, intense and angsty. It's so good!!! My Rating:4.7 stars ******

Quarterback Keeper by Lacey Black--- My favorite kind of trope- knocking up friend's sister and finding out down the road he has a child. That's what happens in
Ashtyn Harris and Tate Steele’s story. It's quite emotional, well written and humorous when needed!

Between the Lines by Micaela Smeltzer is Travis and Alba’s story. This is their 2nd chance at romance story because the 1st goaround, Travis left and didn't tell anybody, which included his gf Alba. She was upset with him because she was left after he slept with her. After that night she ends up pregnant. Their path back to each other is emotional and takes time. My Rating: 4.5
