My Review:

  The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by Amelia Wilde is an intense, dark,  twisted and steamy romance that will keep you engaged from the start all the way through the very  exciting cliffhanger end. This is book 1 in Poseidon’s trilogy. This is Poseidon and Ashley's story. This is a modern retelling with a dark twist about Gods who walk among men. It is based on Greek mythology. The story starts immediately with action, where Ashley's on vacation and is witness to her boyfriend being murdered and she ends up escaping the yacht they were on only to fall directly into Poisedon's hands. Ashley's thinks Poseidon is her hero, for saving her but he's anything but. This devilish sea pirate has dark and twisted plans for Ashley. Poseidon is twisted,  vicious,  dark and very alpha male. Their chemistry is sizzling and the story is such an emotional rollercoaster ride. I enjoyed reading how the chemistry and connection grew between them. The story ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for book 2.
