My Review:
A Lovely Confession by CoraLee June is book 2 in the Debt of Passion Duet. After the major cliffhanger in book 1, thankfully , we didn't have to wait long for book 2. I have to say, what a epic ride!! It was one mindblowing rollercoaster ride page after page..the angst, the raw gritty emotions - the obsessive, toxic feelings and the tragic, heartbreak. Hunter and Roe have this connection- one that has lasted and endured...it's 5 years later ( in book 2) since everything happened in A Lovely Obsession and now we are finally getting a conclusion. This book is so charged; the characters are broken, their love is toxic and for Roe she is ready to get answers for the betrayal. The pulsing action-packed storyline flows beautifully, along with the raw feels and the chemistry between Roe and Hunter. The push/pull in their relationship along with the twists and turns will keep you hooked. Without giving anything away, this is a deliciously dark and twisted romance read that will definitely leave you with a book hangover!! My Rating: 4.8 stars *****
